Early Corner Cupboard
Ca 1830, Quebec
A glazed top, two-door pine Quebec corner cupboard in original pewter-colour paint.
Found in south-western Quebec 30 years ago, this piece is in great condition with a double bead moulding
on the upper door mullions and integral moulding on the door frame below. Brass knobs are original and
complement the unusual use of brass hinges on the doors. Very good simple form with raised panel on inside of bottom door.
