Stepback Glazed Dish Cupboard

Quebec, circa 1850

A charming simple cupboard of pleasing proportions with glass doors above and two plank doors below. Virtually 100% original including colour, glass, hinges and closures. The overpaint was removed to reveal the original red and a later green found only on those places where it currently is exposed (original red still remains under the green). Simple foot at front and half-moon cutout on sides.
